Is the discovery call really free?
Yes — completely free, no strings attached. It's a real 30-minute conversation with Sharon directly. No sales script, no pressure, no obligation. If coaching isn't the right fit for your situation, she'll tell you that honestly. Book your call here.
Is coaching right for me?
Coaching works best for people who are ready to take action and willing to be honest with themselves. You don't need to have everything figured out — in fact, most people come in with more questions than answers. What you do need is a genuine willingness to show up, do the work, and be open to changing how you think and operate. If you're looking for someone to hand you a magic solution with no effort on your part, coaching isn't that. If you're ready to work and just need the right support and direction, coaching can be transformative.
Can you actually help someone like me?
Probably yes — and the free consultation is the honest way to find out. Sharon has worked with clients across 9 countries, from burned-out executives to first-time entrepreneurs to people in the middle of major life transitions. The common thread isn't a specific situation — it's a specific readiness. If you're genuinely ready to stop tolerating where you are and start doing something about it, that's the right starting point.
What happens on a discovery call?
It's a real conversation — not a pitch. Sharon will ask about where you are, what you're struggling with, and what you want to be different. She'll share how she works and what coaching with her looks like. If there's a fit, she'll explain the options. If it's not the right fit — because of timing, because something else would serve you better, or for any other reason — she'll tell you that directly. The call takes about 30 minutes and you'll leave with clarity regardless of what you decide.
Will I be pressured to sign up?
No. Sharon has maintained a 5-star reputation for 12 consecutive years by working with the right clients — not by pressuring people into commitments they're not ready for. The discovery call is genuinely exploratory. If you need time to think, take it. If you want to ask more questions first, ask them.
What if I'm not sure what kind of coaching I need?
That's a perfectly fine place to start. Sharon offers both life coaching and business coaching, and for many clients the two overlap. The discovery call is the right place to sort that out — she'll ask the questions that help you both understand what kind of support will make the most difference.
Can coaching help if I feel stuck but can't explain why?
Yes — and this is actually one of the most common places people start. You don't need to arrive with a clear problem statement. Sharon is trained to ask the questions that surface what's really going on, often within the first session. Not being able to articulate what's wrong is not a barrier to coaching — it's often a sign that you need exactly what coaching provides.
What if I've never worked with a coach before?
Most of Sharon's clients haven't. There's nothing you need to know or prepare before a discovery call. Come as you are, be honest about where you are, and let the conversation show you what's possible.
What Coaching Is — and Isn't
What is coaching?
Coaching is a structured, goal-oriented process that helps you gain clarity, break unhelpful patterns, build confidence, and create meaningful change in your personal or professional life. It draws on psychology, behavioral science, and proven frameworks to help you move from where you are to where you want to be — faster and with more support than trying to figure it out alone. It's not advice-giving, therapy, or mentoring. It's a focused partnership built around your goals.
What is life coaching?
Life coaching focuses on your personal life — clarity, direction, confidence, fulfillment, relationships, identity, and transitions. It helps you understand what you actually want, identify what's standing in the way, and build the beliefs, habits, and decisions that move you toward it. Sharon's life coaching in Colorado Springs and Denver integrates CBT, NLP, and Strategic Intervention for lasting change.
What is business coaching?
Business coaching helps entrepreneurs, founders, and business owners grow their businesses, lead more effectively, and navigate the challenges that come with building something from scratch. Sharon's business coaching is different from most because it combines hard strategy — marketing, revenue, systems, decision-making — with the mindset work that most coaches skip entirely. After 30+ years in business and marketing and working with clients at ReMax, State Farm, and American Express, she brings real-world experience, not just frameworks.
How is coaching different from therapy?
Therapy primarily focuses on healing the past — processing trauma, treating mental health conditions, and understanding how historical experiences shape current behavior. Coaching focuses on the present and future — where you are now, where you want to go, and what's standing between the two. Sharon does not diagnose, treat, or provide therapy. If something arises in coaching that would be better served by a therapist, she'll say so directly.
How is coaching different from consulting?
A consultant typically diagnoses your situation and prescribes a solution. A coach helps you develop your own clarity, capability, and decision-making so you can solve problems — and keep solving them — long after the coaching engagement ends. That said, Sharon brings 30+ years of real business experience, so her coaching often includes direct strategic input alongside the developmental work.
How is coaching different from mentoring?
A mentor shares their own experience and guides you based on what worked for them. A coach focuses on you — your goals, your patterns, your potential — without projecting their own path onto yours. Coaching is more structured, more accountable, and more focused on measurable change. Sharon's approach includes elements of mentorship given her deep experience, but the core of the work is coaching.
What makes your coaching approach different?
Most coaches do either mindset work or business strategy — Sharon does both, because sustainable change requires both. Her approach draws on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP), Strategic Intervention (trained through Robbins-Madanes under Tony Robbins), and Positive Psychology. She has 30+ years of real business experience and has built her own businesses from nothing — including going from homeless to $500K in year one from a $500 investment. She coaches from experience, not just certification.
Do you give advice, or do you mainly ask questions?
Both — but Sharon is more direct than most coaches. She will ask the questions that get to the real issue, and she will also tell you what she sees, name the pattern she's observing, and share direct strategic perspective when it's useful. She doesn't believe in keeping all the insight to herself while you spend six sessions discovering what she spotted in the first five minutes.
Why do people hire a coach instead of figuring it out on their own?
Because the patterns keeping you where you are are invisible to you by definition. If you could clearly see what's in the way and change it alone, you already would have. A coach provides perspective you can't give yourself, accountability you won't create alone, and a structured process that accelerates change that would otherwise take years — or never happen at all.

The Process — What to Expect
What does a typical coaching engagement look like?
Most clients work with Sharon for one to four months, with weekly 1-on-1 sessions conducted privately via Zoom. Each session has a clear focus and ends with specific next steps. Sharon sends written session notes after every call so nothing gets lost. Between sessions, clients have access to tools, frameworks, and resources relevant to their work. The engagement is built around your goals — not a fixed curriculum. You can read more on the coaching process page.
How long are sessions?
Sessions are typically one hour. They move quickly — there's no small talk or time wasted. Every session is focused on your specific situation and ends with something concrete you can act on.
How often do we meet?
Most clients meet weekly. This frequency keeps momentum, ensures accountability, and allows real progress to build between sessions. In some cases — particularly intensive executive coaching or business coaching engagements — clients meet more frequently, especially early on.
How many sessions will I need?
It depends on what you're working through. Some clients achieve a specific breakthrough goal in four to six sessions. Others work with Sharon for several months on deeper transformation. She'll give you an honest assessment during the discovery call based on what you're dealing with and what you want to accomplish.
Do you do one-off sessions?
This is something to discuss on the discovery call. For some situations — a specific decision, a clarity session, or a one-time strategy consultation — a standalone session can be genuinely useful. For deeper transformation, ongoing coaching delivers far stronger results.
What happens between sessions?
You'll have specific actions and focus areas from the previous session. Sharon provides written notes after each call so you have a clear record. She may share tools, frameworks, or resources between sessions depending on what you're working on. The between-session work is where a lot of the real change happens — coaching isn't just the hour you spend together.
How personalized is the coaching?
Completely. Sharon does not use a fixed script or one-size-fits-all curriculum. Every engagement is built from scratch around who you are, what you're dealing with, and what you want to achieve. The tools and approaches she uses are drawn from her methodology — CBT, NLP, Strategic Intervention, Positive Psychology — but how they're applied is entirely specific to you.
What if my goals change during coaching?
That happens regularly — and it's actually a sign that coaching is working. As clarity increases, priorities shift. Sharon adapts the focus of the work accordingly. The plan serves the client, not the other way around.
Is coaching confidential?
Yes. Everything discussed in coaching sessions is kept strictly confidential. Sharon does not share client information, session content, or outcomes with anyone. This is foundational to the trust that effective coaching requires.
What do you expect from me as a client?
Honesty, showing up, and a genuine willingness to do the work between sessions. Coaching is a partnership — Sharon brings her full commitment, experience, and directness, and she expects the same from clients. You don't need to be perfect. You do need to be real.

Is there a minimum commitment?
There's no rigid minimum, but Sharon is honest about what produces results: real change takes time. A single session can create clarity, but sustainable transformation typically requires at least 4 to 8 sessions over a month or two. That said, she works with each client based on their specific situation and goals — the discovery call is the right place to figure out what makes sense for you.
Do you require a down payment or upfront commitment?
No. There are no down payments and no large upfront packages. You pay month to month, which keeps the financial commitment manageable and puts the focus where it belongs — on results, not contracts.
Do you coach online or in person?
All sessions are conducted via Zoom — private, focused, and available from anywhere. Sharon is based in Colorado Springs, CO and serves clients throughout the Colorado Springs and Denver areas, across the United States, and internationally.
Do you coach clients internationally?
Yes. Sharon currently coaches clients in 9 countries: the United States, Australia, Austria, the Netherlands, Cambodia, Thailand, Mexico, South Africa, and the Bahamas. All sessions are conducted via Zoom, so your location is never a barrier. She's accustomed to working across multiple time zones.
What is your cancellation policy?
This is covered during the discovery call and onboarding. Sharon runs a professional, respectful engagement — she asks the same of her clients. Reasonable notice for cancellations or rescheduling is expected, and she extends the same courtesy in return.
What if I need to pause coaching?
Life happens. If something comes up that requires a pause, Sharon works with you on that. The engagement is designed to serve your life — not create additional stress in it.
Specific Coaching Areas — Can Coaching Help With…
Can coaching help with burnout?
Burnout coaching is one of Sharon's core areas of focus. She works with clients to identify what caused the burnout, what's keeping them stuck in it, and how to rebuild energy, clarity, and sustainable momentum — without just telling you to rest and hope for the best. Burnout is rarely just tiredness. It's usually a signal about values, boundaries, identity, or all three. Coaching addresses the root, not just the symptom.
How do I know if I'm burned out?
Common signs include chronic exhaustion that sleep doesn't fix, emotional numbness or detachment from work you used to care about, increasing cynicism, difficulty concentrating, physical symptoms like headaches or getting sick frequently, and a feeling of going through the motions without meaning. If you feel depleted at a level that goes beyond normal tiredness — and if rest isn't restoring you — burnout is worth taking seriously.
Can coaching help with imposter syndrome?
Yes, and it's extremely common — especially among high achievers and people stepping into new roles or bigger responsibilities. Imposter syndrome is a specific pattern of thought, and like all patterns, it can be identified, examined, and changed. Sharon uses NLP and CBT-based approaches to work directly on the beliefs underneath the pattern — not just the symptoms.
Can coaching help with confidence and self-doubt?
Absolutely. Confidence isn't a personality trait you either have or don't — it's built through action, evidence, and the removal of the beliefs and patterns that undermine it. Sharon works with clients on both the behavioral side (what you do) and the internal side (how you think about yourself and what's possible).
Can coaching help with perfectionism?
Yes. Perfectionism is one of the most common patterns Sharon works with — particularly in high-functioning, ambitious clients. It's rooted in fear and identity, and it responds well to the direct CBT and NLP-based work she does. Perfectionism isn't a character strength to preserve — it's a pattern that costs you productivity, relationships, and peace of mind. It can be changed.
Can coaching help with procrastination?
Yes. Procrastination almost always has a root — fear of failure, fear of judgment, perfectionism, lack of clarity, or identity conflict around the goal. Sharon doesn't just help you build better systems or routines (though that's part of it). She helps you identify and address why you're avoiding the thing in the first place.
Can coaching help me set better boundaries?
Yes. Boundary issues are rarely about not knowing you need boundaries — most people know. The real issue is usually the discomfort, guilt, or fear of consequences that comes with enforcing them. Coaching works on both the practical (how to actually set and hold a boundary) and the internal (why it feels so hard, and what belief is running underneath that).
Can coaching help me grow my business?
Yes. Sharon's business coaching combines real strategy — revenue, marketing, systems, positioning, prioritization — with the mindset and leadership work that determines whether you can actually execute on that strategy. She's been in business since 1998, built her own ventures from scratch, and has worked with clients at ReMax, State Farm, and American Express. The advice she gives has been tested in real businesses, including her own.
Can coaching help if I'm overwhelmed in my business?
Yes — and this is one of the most common entry points for business coaching clients. Being overwhelmed in your business usually means one of a few things: you're the bottleneck, your priorities aren't clear, your systems are missing, your team isn't working, or you're trying to do too much alone. Sharon helps you identify exactly which problem you have and build the clarity and structure to move out of survival mode.
What is executive coaching and who is it for?
Executive coaching is focused coaching for leaders — founders, executives, directors, and senior managers who want to lead more effectively, communicate better, make stronger decisions, and build the kind of presence and capacity that high-level leadership demands. Sharon's executive coaching is particularly effective for leaders navigating transitions, managing high-pressure environments, or dealing with the isolation that often comes with senior roles.
Can coaching help during a major life transition?
Yes. Major transitions — career changes, relationship shifts, loss, relocation, stepping into new roles — are among the most productive times to work with a coach. Transitions are disorienting by nature, and having clear support and direction during them can mean the difference between emerging stronger or spending years trying to find your footing.
Can coaching help if I feel highly self-aware but still stuck?
Yes — and this is one of the most frustrating places to be. High self-awareness without the ability to translate that awareness into change is extremely common. Knowing what's wrong and being able to shift it are two completely different skills. Coaching bridges that gap — moving you from insight into actual behavioral change.
Results — What's Actually Possible
What kind of results do clients usually get?
It varies by what they came in to work on, but common outcomes include: greater clarity and direction, measurable business growth, improved confidence and decision-making, recovery from burnout, the ability to set and hold boundaries, reduced anxiety and overthinking, breakthroughs on goals that had been stalled for months or years, and a general sense of operating from a position of choice rather than reaction. Sharon has maintained a 5-star Google rating for 12 consecutive years — the results are documented.
How quickly do people notice changes?
Most clients notice a meaningful shift in clarity or perspective within the first few sessions. Behavioral change — the kind that actually sticks — typically takes longer, because it requires rewiring patterns that have been in place for years. The short answer: you'll feel something moving quickly; lasting transformation takes the full engagement.
Are results guaranteed?
No honest coach guarantees results, because results depend on two people — the coach and the client. What Sharon guarantees is her full commitment, her best thinking, and her direct honesty in every session. Clients who show up, do the work, and stay open to what the process requires consistently achieve meaningful change. The results are a partnership.
What if I don't make progress as quickly as I hoped?
Sharon tracks progress explicitly and adjusts when something isn't working. If the pace feels slower than expected, that's a conversation to have directly — and she'll give you an honest read on whether the pace is right for what you're working through, or whether something needs to change in the approach.
Can coaching create lasting change?
Yes — if the work goes deep enough. Surface-level coaching can create temporary motivation. Deep coaching — the kind that addresses the beliefs, patterns, and identity that drive behavior — creates change that holds. That's why Sharon integrates CBT and NLP into her work rather than relying purely on goal-setting and accountability.
What's the ROI of coaching?
For business coaching clients, ROI is often measurable in revenue, time saved, or business decisions that led to clear financial outcomes. For life coaching clients, the ROI is harder to put a number on but no less real — restored energy, improved relationships, reclaimed direction, and the compound effect of making better decisions from a place of clarity rather than fear or default. The cost of staying stuck is real too. It just doesn't show up on an invoice.
The Honest Questions — What People Are Really Asking
Why invest in coaching now instead of waiting?
Because the cost of waiting isn't neutral. Every month you stay stuck, burned out, or operating below your potential has a real cost — in lost revenue, missed opportunities, deteriorating health, and the slow erosion of confidence that happens when you keep not following through on what you know you need to do. Coaching accelerates change that most people either never make alone or make far too slowly.
What happens if I do nothing and stay where I am?
That's the most honest question anyone can ask themselves. In Sharon's experience, the people who don't take action don't stay the same — they gradually get more stuck, more tired, and more resigned to the gap between where they are and where they want to be. The patterns that keep you where you are don't weaken on their own. They usually deepen.
What if I'm successful on paper but unhappy underneath?
This is one of Sharon's most common client profiles — and one she understands personally. External success and internal fulfillment are not the same thing. High achievement can actually make it harder to acknowledge that something is missing, because it feels ungrateful or irrational to feel unfulfilled when life looks good from the outside. Coaching creates the space to be honest about what you actually want — and to build toward it without dismantling everything you've already built.
What if I've tried coaching before and it didn't help?
That's worth talking about on the discovery call — specifically what happened, what didn't work, and why. Not all coaching is the same. Some coaches are purely reflective and never push. Some are all strategy with no mindset depth. Some aren't a fit for the client's personality or situation. Sharon's approach is direct, experienced, and integrates both strategy and deep behavioral change work. If previous coaching didn't get traction, there's usually a specific reason — and it's usually fixable.
What if I've invested in myself before and nothing changed?
Books, courses, podcasts, and seminars give you information. Coaching gives you application — personalized to your specific situation, with someone holding you accountable to actually doing the thing. The gap between knowing and doing is almost never about information. It's about pattern, fear, identity, or accountability. That's exactly what coaching addresses.
What if I don't have enough time for coaching?
That feeling is worth examining — because it's often a symptom of the exact problem coaching solves. Overwhelm, poor prioritization, and inability to protect time for what matters are core coaching issues. One hour a week is a small investment. If you genuinely can't find one hour a week for yourself, that tells you something important about where things are.
What if I'm afraid of change?
That's completely normal — and it doesn't disqualify you from coaching. Fear of change is one of the most common things Sharon works with. You don't need to not be afraid. You just need to be willing to look at the fear honestly and decide whether you're going to keep letting it run the show.
What if asking for help feels uncomfortable?
For a lot of high performers and independent people, it does. There's a belief — often unexamined — that needing support is a sign of weakness. But the most successful people in every field have coaches, mentors, and advisors. Asking for the right help at the right time is a strategic decision, not an admission of failure.
What if I'm worried coaching means I've failed?
It means the opposite. It means you're honest enough to recognize what you can't see or do alone, and strategic enough to invest in changing it. Every elite athlete, executive, and high performer has a coach — not because they've failed, but because they're serious about performing at their best.
Is it too late to change things?
No. Sharon built a half-million dollar business in her first year from a $500 investment after being homeless. She has coached clients in their 20s, 40s, 60s, and beyond. The right time to start is when you're ready — not when the circumstances are perfect, because those circumstances rarely arrive on their own.
Can I be successful without burning out?
Yes. This is one of Sharon's core beliefs — and one she's lived. High performance and sustainable wellbeing are not opposites. The belief that you have to sacrifice one for the other is itself a pattern worth examining. The work is about building the kind of success that you can sustain and actually enjoy — not just survive.
Scope & Fit — What Coaching Can and Can't Do
How do I know whether I need coaching or therapy?
A useful way to think about it: if your primary challenge is rooted in an unresolved past — trauma, grief, a mental health diagnosis, or significant emotional wounds that haven't been processed — therapy is likely the right starting point. If your primary challenge is about moving forward — clarity, direction, confidence, performance, business growth, or navigating a transition — coaching is likely the right fit. If you're unsure, the discovery call is a good place to have that honest conversation. Sharon will tell you directly if she thinks something else would serve you better.
Can coaching support me while I'm also in therapy?
Yes. Coaching and therapy can work well alongside each other — they serve different functions. Many of Sharon's clients work with therapists concurrently. She does not provide therapy, but she can be a powerful complement to it for clients who are ready to take what they're processing in therapy and start building something new.
Do you diagnose or treat mental health conditions?
No. Sharon is not a licensed therapist or mental health professional and does not diagnose or treat mental health conditions. Coaching is not a substitute for mental health treatment. If something arises during coaching that would be better served by a clinical professional, she will say so directly and without hesitation.
Do you provide medical, legal, or financial advice?
No. Sharon is a certified coach, not a licensed medical, legal, or financial professional. Coaching does not replace professional advice in those areas. She will often help clients think through complex decisions in those domains — building clarity, examining assumptions, and identifying what they actually want — but the professional advice itself comes from the appropriate licensed professionals.
What if something comes up that is outside the scope of coaching?
Sharon will tell you. She takes the scope of coaching seriously and will refer out when something requires a different kind of professional. That kind of honesty is part of what 12 years of 5-star reviews are built on.
About Sharon — Credentials & Background
Why should I work with you specifically?
Because Sharon doesn't just hold certifications — she's lived the work. She went from homeless to building a $500K business in her first year from a $500 investment. She's been in business since 1998, has trained under Tony Robbins as a Strategic Interventionist, and has held a perfect 5-star Google rating for 12 consecutive years. She coaches clients in 9 countries and has worked with people at ReMax, State Farm, and American Express. She is direct, experienced, and genuinely invested in every client's outcomes. You can read more on her About page.
What certifications and training do you have?
Sharon holds the following credentials: Certified Master Life Coach (CMLC), Certified Business Coach (CBC), Strategic Interventionist (Robbins-Madanes Training Center — Tony Robbins), Certified Neurolinguistic Programmer (NLP), iPEC Certified Coach, and is an ICF member. She has 30+ years of business and marketing experience and has been coaching since 2013.
How direct are you as a coach?
Very. Sharon doesn't just ask reflective questions and let you sit with them indefinitely. She will tell you what she sees, name the pattern she's watching, and push back when she thinks you're playing small or avoiding something important. She does this with care — but without softening the truth to the point where it stops being useful. If you want a coach who will challenge you as well as support you, that's what you'll get.
What if I'm not used to opening up?
Sharon creates a coaching environment that's safe, non-judgmental, and built on trust. Many of her clients are high-functioning, private people who aren't used to being vulnerable — and who find that the right container makes it easier than they expected. You don't have to share everything at once. The relationship builds.
What if I'm skeptical about coaching?
Healthy skepticism is fine. Sharon doesn't ask you to believe in coaching before you try it — she asks you to have one honest conversation and make a decision based on that. The free discovery call exists for exactly this reason. Come skeptical. Ask hard questions. See what you think.
